How to Reset or Clear the Adminstrator Password

OK , here is a guide which should enable you to reset or erase the administrator account's password using a less priveledged or restricted account on a Local Computer [Not Remote Domain].

OK so here is a Short Intro on what you need and what is this about.

You Need

  • A User Account on XP / Vista / Windows 7
  • Access to Command Prompt [cmd]
Note : This is the easiest hack made for resetting / hack Admin password using any other User Account Present on the Same Domain. This hack uses a command console program named "net.exe"

Following are the Procedures to do that.
  • Open the Command Prompt (Start -> ( All ) Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt.
  • After opening the command prompt type
    "net user [username] [password]"
    and hit Enter.
The Syntax parameter definition is given below
  • [username] : The password of the account whose password is needed to be resetted , for our case that will be "Administrator"
  • [password] : The New password we wish to reset the account's name password back to , in our case that would be demo.
  • Now see the following example.

  • See the above command has been completed successfully , now the password of "administrator" account has been changed to "demo" rather than what administrator had given for the account.

The Beauty of this hack is that this can be done from any other Less Priveledged XP User account on the same domain.
